Tucker, GA — A personal care home seeking a special land use permit in Tucker on May 1 will hold an informational meeting about its plans to increase the number of residents living there by one person.

According to the letter from Developmental Disabilities Ministries sent to nearby residents, the organization supports people living in a home at 3710 South Marlborough Drive in Tucker. The group wants a special land use permit to allow a fourth person to live there.

“We want to invite you to a Drop-In Informational Gathering at the home on May 1, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m,” the notice letter says. The gathering will be held at 3710 South Marlborough Drive, Tucker, GA  30084. “On May 1, we plan to provide information and a hotdog lunch. DDM will have written information and staff that can answer your questions regarding the SLUP and our plans to continue to support the individuals in the home. We hope we can meet with you and answer any questions you have regarding our plans.”
