DeKalb Police investigate after fatal shooting at gas station in Stone Mountain

Stone Mountain, GA — DeKalb Police are investigating fatal shooting that occurred on July 8.

The incident happened around 5 p.m. at 4402 Rockbridge Road in unincorporated Stone Mountain at a gas station.

“When officers arrived a 20 year-old-man was found suffering from gunshot wounds,” a spokesperson for the Police Department said. “He was transported to a local hospital, where he died. It appears that the victim was in a dispute with the suspect before shots were fired. The suspect has not been arrested and the investigation remains active.”
