Decatur, GA — In celebration of National Procurement Month, DeKalb County will host its Fifth Annual Reverse Trade Show and Procurement Summit virtually, a press release said.

The DeKalb County Purchasing and Contracting Department (P&C) encourages current and prospective vendors, along with the public, to take advantage of this opportunity to learn how to do business with the county. Participants also will have the chance to provide department representatives with contact information and listings of the services and goods they offer, while receiving answers to questions from procurement staff.

This free event is from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday, Aug. 27, via Zoom. It will feature mini workshops on topics such as iSupplier registration, iSupplier account management, iSupplier invoice/payment procedures, P&C’s purchasing policy/processes, P&C’s website posting/solicitation calendar, DeKalb First LSBE ordinance/certification requirements, contract compliance (DeKalb Links), and more.

For the first time, participants will have an opportunity to sign in from their place of business and obtain pertinent information relative to how to do business with DeKalb County, right at their fingertips.
