Stone Mountain, GA — A ribbon cutting and grand opening event for The Vibrary: Wine & Bookbar on Thursday Aug. 12 marked the latest business to open in Stone Mountain Village.

The Vibrary combines owner and Stone Mountain resident Candace Walker’s love of reading, wine and charity: A portion of the proceeds from The Vibrary will be donated to the Ann Key Memorial Foundation, a nonprofit organization created in memory of Candace’s mother that provides college scholarships to local high school seniors.

Walker says her intent was to create a space where experienced wine consumers and newbies alike can stumble upon a good book and try new wines together. A selection of wines by the glass and retail bottles of wine are available, and menu items include beer from Down Home Brewing Co., specialty items, nonalcoholic beverages and food. A variety of books are available for purchase as well.

The Vibrary: Wine & Bookbar is located at 970 Main Street, Stone Mountain, 30083. For more information, visit: thevibrary.co
