Tucker, GA — Some doggone good fun was had during ‘Paws in the Park’ at Henderson Park Dog Park in Tucker on Saturday, Aug. 28. Pups were treated to toy giveaways and cooling pools and crepes and coffee were available for their humans.

Henderson Park Dog Park is an off-leash dog park with separate fenced-in runs for large and small dogs. The address is 4000 Henderson Park Road (access off Livsey Road on the east side of the park.) Deb Hammacher, a longtime volunteer with LifeLine Animal Project was at ‘Paws in the Park’ in Tucker on Aug. 28 to give information about pet adoptions and other LifeLine services. LifeLine manages both DeKalb and Fulton County Animal Services and operates its own low-cost vet clinic in Embry Hills at 3180 Presidential Drive.
