Tucker, GA — Dollar General is relocating from 4351 Hugh Howell Road to 4005 Lawrenceville Highway, at the corner of Fellowship Road, later this year. The company has not released a date, saying that construction delays could alter the opening.

A company representative said Dollar General is always evaluating stores and how to best serve customers.

“The new store will provide more space and a fresher layout, as well as the same products and prices our customers rely on,” said Katie Ellison, senior public relations manager. “In addition to the national and private branded products customers trust, Dollar General to carry, the remodeled Tucker location will now include the company’s new stylish, on-trend home décor and an expanded party preparation selection.”

The new store will offer more convenient cash register locations, seasonal products featured in the center of the store, coolers near the front of the store and more visible department signage.

Employees at the current location should transfer to the new store when it opens.
