Tucker, GA — The city of Tucker is accepting proposals for an economic development strategic plan. Proposals will be considered from professional firms with experience and success in preparing a plan for a local municipality, according to the RFP.

Tucker’s business community includes industrial spaces, manufacturing hubs, major corporate employers and small businesses.

The economic development strategic plan will be the city’s first, an expansion of Tucker’s master plan. The scope of work entails interviewing community and regional partners, holding public engagement meetings and evaluating industry sectors, real estate and incentive programs.

“We are eager to build an economic development strategic plan that will attract new career wage jobs and community minded employers while increasing the quality of life for the community,” the RFP states.

Jackie Moffo, economic development manager, was hired in December 2021 to collaborate with local, regional and state partners on economic development initiatives for Tucker.
