The pool reopened on Thursday, June 16. Here is our earlier story:

Tucker, GA — The city of Tucker has temporarily closed Kelley Cofer pool for maintenance.

Jason Collins, Tucker Parks and Recreation manager, said the pool pump failed, and it is being repaired. A replacement pump has been secured to serve as a backup in the future, the city said.

Cofer Pool is scheduled to reopen Wednesday at 12 noon. The pool is always closed on Tuesdays. In the meantime, summer camps held through the Tucker Parks and Recreation department are using Rosenfeld Pool.
