Man critically injured following hit-and-run crash in Northlake area

Tucker, GA — DeKalb County Police are investigating a collision that left a man in critical condition.

Police responded to the 4300 block of Lavista Road around 4:56 p.m. on Nov. 9. They received a report of a vehicle striking a person.

“When they arrived, they located a male in his 30s lying in the parking lot with critical injuries,” a spokesperson for the police department said. “He was transported by EMS to an area hospital for treatment.  Investigators with our Traffic Specialist Unit responded to the scene to further the investigation.”

The driver fled the scene.

“We have no additional information at this time,” a police spokesperson said.
