DeKalb County, GA — St. Bede’s Episcopal Church and the Church of Our Saviour Episcopal Church are partnering to host Art from the Heart, a celebration of artists and all those who enjoy the gifts the artists create. The artist market will be held on Friday, Nov. 18, from noon to 7 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 19, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The artist market will take place at St. Bede’s Episcopal Church, 2601 Henderson Mill Road NE in Atlanta. All proceeds from the event will benefit various programs of the sponsoring churches.

There will be an opening party on Thursday, Nov. 17, from 6-8 p.m. There is a $10 charge per person for the opening party, which includes appetizers, and will give participants a first look at all the artists’ works. The party will have a cash bar with soda, beer and wine available for purchase.

The Friday and Saturday markets are free to attend and open to the public, with food and drink available for purchase. Currently, the food offerings will be several kinds of chili or soup, cheese plates, fruits and baked goods. Throughout the day on Nov. 19 there will be live performances by local artists.

This will be the third Art from the Heart show, with the first two having been held in 2018 and 2019. This is the first market since 2019.

For more information about the market, please contact Lois Shingler, at [email protected] or 404-593-9001.
